It's a way for applications — fansites, Discord bots, agency websites, and more — to communicate with Habbo. In the case of Variables, that means being able to read variables, list holders, view user profiles, and manipulate variables (give, modify, delete) all from outside the hotel. Every operation has a dedicated bulk endpoint, so you can do multiple things at the same time.
Significant work has gone into making both the Habbo room and the Web API super responsive to changes. The WIRED Trigger: Variable Changed will also be able to detect whether a change came from inside the room or from the Web API, giving you precise control over how your room and app communicate.
Beta TestingThis box isn't releasing just yet; beta sign-ups are open now, with testing expected to start sometime during the summer.
Do you run an established fansite, RPG, agency, Discord bot, or other game? Want early access as part of the beta programme?
The goal of the beta isn't to gather feedback — it's a controlled initial rollout to investigate any technical issues and finalise rate limit configurations before making it available to everyone. Spots are limited and not everyone will be picked. Preference will go to organisations with a track record who are serious about incorporating Variables into their systems.

Chosen beta testers will receive one or more Variables Web API boxes. These will be non-tradeable and yours to build with.
